The team around Rene has been very welcoming and super supportive. The few meters from the center make it a peaceful retreat, and the sound of the river was fantastic. No problem to sleep

The host, Rene, was very kind and helpful with information about the area, arranging taxis, etc. The hotel is comfortable enough. The common lounge area has comfortable furniture, and a very nice view of the gardens. The room was pretty humble. The bed was fine, but furniture in the sitting room was very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was fine, just old. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the ancient sites, plus many, many restaurants.
