We are a small group of middle-aged friends who love travelling together, and Mangata Apartment provided exactly what we were looking for.
We have already travelled to many places in Greece, and whenever we can, we try to discover a new part of the country every year. We thought that many people choose Parga as their destination, and we originally only planned to visit it for one day. We decided to stay in Preveza instead – and for us, this turned out to be a great decision.
Preveza was a pleasant surprise: a relaxed, authentic Greek atmosphere, friendly people, a beautiful waterfront, great restaurants, and, on top of that, everything is within walking distance.
The apartment had everything we could possibly need, and even more. 4th floor, and there is a lift! We especially appreciated the small, thoughtful gestures, such as the water, orange juice and other treats waiting for us in the fridge. Honestly, it felt as if we had borrowed a lovely Greek home for a few days, rather than simply staying in an apartment. ❤️
We loved the terrace, where we had breakfast, played board games, chatted and enjoyed the view of the sea.
The location is perfect as well. The old town is an easy walk away, full of charming and excellent restaurants. There are also several comfortable Blue Flag beaches within walking distance. We mostly went to Kiani Akti beach (there are showers, toilets, changing facilities and a bar/bistro), but there are many other beaches that can easily be reached with a little walking or by taxi.
Everything needed for everyday life was also close by: a small market around the corner, a greengrocer nearby and a bakery on the main street.
We also used the local buses to visit Lefkada and Parga. Rania was incredibly helpful: she checked the timetables and bus stops for us in advance, so everything went perfectly.
Rania is a kind, helpful and thoughtful host; we truly felt that we were welcome. We really enjoyed both the apartment and Preveza💙
There were a few people in our group who found the pillows a little too firm, while I personally slept really well on them. So, as you can see, even this is quite subjective. We honestly can’t think of anything we didn’t like. 💖

Everything was perfect! Our host was caring and always reachable, the apartment is nicely decorated and has a great location. It was such a comfortable stay... strongly recommended!!

Es gibt drei Balkone - toll. Der Ausblick aufs Meer mit den Segelbooten war sensationell. Zudem ist die Wohnung / alle Zimmer mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet, was bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad dringend erforderlich ist. Ansonsten ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Unsere Gastgeberin (sehr nett und herzlich) war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat uns tolle Tips gegeben. Weiterhin ist ein schattiger Parkplatz vorhanden - in Preveza sehr vorteilhaft. Es ist alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen.
In einem der Schlafzimmer ist eine sehr harte Matratze (Geschmacksache) - könnte durch einen Topper gelöst werden 😁.
