The communication from the host was excellent and she was very helpful in answering some questions. The house itself was lovely. It is a great location - only about 15 minute walk to the Iron Bridge and with a Co-op just across the road. The kitchen was well equipped, the cake, milk and tea left by the host was a very nice touch, and the house itself was very comfortable and warm. There were two private parking spaces to the rear of the house. Some people have said the road was noisy but we didn't find this, even with the window open a little at night.
They only thing that we felt could be improved was the quality of lighting in the sitting room - the cosy, gentle lighting meant it was difficult to read a book in the evening. Otherwise all was great and the smart TV had lots of channels.
