Excellent location close to the ferry port and in a small town with plenty of shops. Very spacious and had all the facilities we needed for a few days on Arran, including a washing machine and tumble dryer (very useful to dry out some clothes that got wet in the rain.
Great views from the apartment.
Mostly good sizes bedrooms and comfortable.
Good size main bathroom and additional en-suite bathroom was great too.
Good size kitchen, dining area etc with most of the things we needed to cook meals etc.
Games was a nice touch too.
Blind in twin room broken
Some issues with air quality in the bedrooms requiring rooms to be aired.
Insufficient hooks in main bathroom and would have been useful to have a chair or rack/heater to hang clothes on.
The small bedroom is way too small for anything other than children in our opinion and the picture in this room seemed out of place compared to the nice pictures in other rooms.
En-suite bathroom - cupboard door would not close and shower head holder loose.
Personally we would have preferred wood flooring throughout rather then the carpets.
Would have been nice to have some cooking oil and spices for cooking (only found salt/pepper)
The WiFi was terrible - Very slow and kept dropping out (we got faster speed using mobile as a hotspot)
Noticed car charger plugs outside but not available to use - As an owner of an EV would have been convenient to be able to charge car at the property (there was a reasonably fast charger on the high street though)
Home is on a hill so if walking into town be prepared for a steep uphill walk back!
