About this house rental
A perfect little retreat for a couple or small family. This one bedroom/one bath house completes the Adirondack feel with pine interior and brick fireplace. An open concept living space makes the space feel bigger with a breakfast bar and access to the screened in porch from the dining area. The twin size day bed is tucked into the living room alcove and is perfect for small families or just lounging. The bathroom has a stall shower and an antique claw foot tub.
This property is not directly on Lake Paradox Club acreage but can be accessed thru a path directly across the road thru the woods. This would lead you to the game's fields with Tennis, horseshoes, volleyball, tetherball or just an open space to let pets run. The natural sand beach found on Paradox Lake is about a 5 min walk or one minute drive from this house.
We are approximately 3 miles from Schroon Lake where one can find dining, shopping and groceries. During the summer season, there are many events happening in the town of Schroon Lake. In the winter, we have cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. We are approximately 25 minutes from Gore Mountain, 40 from Whiteface Mountain and many Vermont Mountains are an easy driving distance.
Please note:This is a self-service facility. Linens are only supplied between October 15-May 15th. Linens are available to rent during the warmer months if needed.

Birches was a beautiful cottage to rent. Comfortable bed, furniture and surroundings. Disappointed it had no WiFi, that was a little ambiguous on the listing. Only 1 of 12 rental properties have WiFi. Did not cook much at cottage but would have like a flat spatula, basic spices even if left by previous renters. No cabinet space in kitchen to store food you bring in. The patio and screened porch were great! We would have liked it if more was said about beach and its use. We did not call Kelly because my husband was not able to get around too much. Extra bed pillows and throw blankets would be a nice touch. Would stay here again.
