We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. The location is ideal for exploring the Peak District, tucked away in a tiny, charming village surrounded by beautiful countryside and nature.
The house has so much character and feels very different from the typical minimalist holiday rental. It was warm, cosy and full of lovely touches, and we genuinely felt at home.
The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was great and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Forge to anyone looking for a cosy and characterful place to stay in the Peak District.

The location is beautiful, the village is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the garden - watching the bats in the evening, and the peacock! The children loved the playground across the road. The cottage is very comfortable and felt like a home from home.
