The house was a historic building full of character. The upstairs sitting room was particularly comfortable.
Parking was easy and right outside the property. The kitchen was well stocked (though we did not do any cooking there).
From the house there was easy access to great walks and excellent restuarants.
There an extremely powerful security light over the car parking area that shines into the back of the accommodation. The curtains on the back bedroom would need to be blackout to avoid light pollution.

It's a well located house in the centre of Lancaster. A stones throw away from the station and the castle and just a walk down to the quay. Central heating works well when it's on. Kitchen /diner quite well equipped.
Its a small place and two of the bedrooms are on the second floor along with the bathroom so there is a lot of trekking up and down stairs to wash, although there is a small toilet at the back. Its place for adults not young children but people with mobility issues will find it hard work to go up/down the stairs ..

Beautiful Georgian property with everything needed and no clutter. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Lovely touches in the kitchen, including fresh milk - thank you!
Superb location for the castle.
I would have preferred bigger towels and the option of more small towels too.
It was cold at night and one of our party didn't have enough blankets.
