Le homestay est bien situé, à environ 30min en voiture de l’aéroport.
Nous avons profité d’un dîner délicieux de Bernard hier soir.
La chambre était spacieuse et très propre, et la douche était la plus agréable de notre séjour au Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Millet’s. The room was great! Good size, and very clean.
What stood out from other stays was the staff and food. The staff was super friendly, and was willing to help you with anything you can think of. Besides that the food was delicious.

Bernard was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Staff: while Bernard the male owner was lovely, Sonya the female owner was very drunk, and yelled at me for checking in late which has been agreed upon and organised prior. They are both German and don’t much speak English so communication was very difficult.
Location: it’s directly across from a large cemetery, far from the centre, and need to take Tuktuk to go anywhere.
Insects: the room I was initially given had 2 cockroaches, Bernard came in and killed the smaller one with his barehand, and the large one went hiding and couldn’t be found. That’s when I requested to change rooms and that’s when Sonya yelled very loudly while off her face drunk and naked from the room next to me. The second room although didn’t have cockroaches, it had lots of ants and spiders.
Comfort: the mattress was awful and makes a lot of noise, the pillows are also very uncomfortable.
All in all, easily the worst place I stayed in my entire 2 and half week trip in Sri Lanka and would not recommend.
