The house is ideally situated in the city centre of Winchester. Shops and most attractions were easily accessible within 5-10 min walking distance. Parking was easy, however, only one car is free of charge. It is a lovely english house with a nice yard to sit outside. We had enough space for 4 grown-ups and 3 children (5 to 9). The kitchen contains everything necessary for a 2 week vacation with self catering. The furniture are not the latest, but did the job very well. We felt very comfortable. The landlords were very friendly, small problems with the sink were repaired right away. We had a very pleasant two weeks stay. The city of winchester is ideal as a base to explore south west England. We can highly recommend the accomodation.
If you are sensitive to noise, the main road which runs right past the front of the house might be a problem, however, as we are used to life in the city, this was no trouble to us.
If you come with more than one car, parking can be quite expensive for additional cars in Winchester.
The establishment is furnished practically, but not new or stylish. If this is important to you, then you might better look somewhere else.
The kitchen and the bathrooms might need some more hooks for towels and racks for clothes etc.
As there is only one shower/bathtub in the house, this could be a bottleneck when travelling with > 5 people with need for frequent showers.

Great location, pleasant house. Lovely comfortable beds and good sized bedrooms.
Lack of parking if you have two vehicles.

The location is perfect! And very spacious with a lovely sunny garden
Shame there was only 1 bath/shower as we were 5 ladies sharing but great there was a second toilet

There were rooms for all of us to have space.
The property was not clean. Floors were dirty and spiders and webs all over. Bins weren’t emptied. Bathrooms weren’t clean either. The upstairs shower was not working.
