Came back to NETS after one year because I needed a place with really good, reliable internet — and wow! These guys just keep improving. 😍
I loved all the new renovations, especially the beautiful new terrazzo bathrooms. The pool area looks even better with the new loungers, and the new outdoor coworking space is such a nice addition when you want to work outside.
While I was there, the staff — all girls — were doing coffee training, which meant I somehow ended up being the lucky tester for lots of free cappuccinos. 😂☕ Definitely extra points for that!
It was so nice to come back and see how much the place has evolved while still having the same welcoming atmosphere.

O hotel é maravilhoso, tudo limpo, organizado, os quartos são recém-reformados com uma decoração linda, moderna e aconchegante, com colchão e travesseiros novos e confortáveis, o banheiro é espaçoso, com amenities e toalhas macias. A piscina é um ótimo lugar para relaxar, se refrescar e também fazer novos amigos.
O espaço do coworking é perfeito para reuniões online, espaçoso, silencioso, possui ar condicionado e a internet funciona perfeitamente (esse é um ponto importante para quem precisa trabalhar e fazer reuniões online).
O restaurante é muito agradável, com um menu diferente e surpreendentemente delicioso com comidas e sucos saudáveis e saborosos, provem o Avocado Salad with Shrimps com suco Mango Matcha.

Facilities were great, pool was refreshing, cafe and food was tasty, WiFi was fantastic, power was stable. Staff and other workers were friendly and it was a great atmosphere.
Would have been nice to get an upgrade to AC room for free if it wasn't very booked up during the off season. Also minor but there was one good staff member at making coffee, but when they were off it wasn't worth paying for the quality of the coffee. The others should be trained by the one who is good at making coffee.

The staff was friendly and helpful, common area is beautiful. Coworking area is quite convenient. Food is delicious.
No sound isolation whatsoever, we couldn’t sleep. Electricity cut offs all the time. Room was humid and had a smell of mold even though air conditioning was on all the time. I need VPN for work and with their WiFi I couldn’t connect to it so I had to use my cellular data. All that for 100 usd per night..
I wouldn’t recommend Sri Lanka overall because the value for money is too bad everywhere. But if you do decide to choose Ahangama, I would recommend to use the service of coworking space in NETs but to stay somewhere else.
