A very peaceful location ,overlooking the marshes between us and the beach. Lovely walks across the nature reserve. the bungalow was very well equipped and felt welcoming. It was beautifully designed, comfortable with a friendly ambience.
Before we arrived I needed to ask for electric fans to be provided in view of the exceptionally hot weather. The owner was kind enough to provide one. I feel this should now be standard in all properties as our summers appear to be getting hotter. The elderly and very young are particularly vulnerable if there is no cooling equipment provided..

Location is in an extremely quiet and peaceful setting adjacent to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, with easy access to nearby shops, Rye and Rye Harbour. There are paths/cycle tracks running along the coast, with easy access to areas of the nature reserve and views of waterfowl and local flora.
It would have been helpful to have been made aware that The Ridge is an unmetalled, potholed road which is difficult to drive along in low-bodied cars.
