The apartment is very well equipped, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The garden just outside the kitchen is cosy and ideal for breakfast or an aperitivo before heading out in the evening.
It's conveniently located close to the train station and is essentially in the centre of La Spezia. Even parking was not an issue, as there is a secure and reasonably priced garage nearby in Piazza d'Armi.
Our host was extremely responsive and provided a wealth of useful information. She even sent us, by mail, an item of great sentimental value that we had accidentally left behind in the apartment.
We would definitely recommend La Finestra di Fronte. 🙂
It's true that the apartment is quite dark. While this is partly due to its being on the ground floor, the main reason is the lack of ceiling lights. The only lighting provided comes from floor lamps and small bedside lamps.

Locație excelenta în centrul vechi, curte spațioasă, clădire istorică spațioasă, dotări utile, clădire răcoroasă fără aer conditionat(exista 2 ventilatoare). Cadouri de bun venit, apa la frigider, cafea, ceai, prosoape, Wi-Fi excelent, smart TV, decorațiuni interioare, mașină de spălat, plită, cuptor, sandviș maker, cafetiere, French press,
Nu le consider defecte, ci particularități ale locației și sunt menționate în descriere, faptul ca para de dus este fixă fără furtun flexibil. Nu ne-a deranjat totuși pe noi.

It feels like at home! There was a lot of care and pleasant attention from the lady owner! All needed equipment is in the kitchen. There was coffee, tea, and even bread and sweets!
It was so nice!
There were towels not only for the bathroom but also for the beach.
The terrace is wonderful! We loved to eat there!
Perfect location! Close to the city centre, restaurants, shops, train station.
For a group of four girls, there was not so much place for the clothes. It would be great to have a bedside table close to the sofa in the living room.
