The apartment was very clean and had a sunny balcony with a fabulous view across the beach. It was so convenient to just pop down for a swim whenever we fancied. The location was perfect for walking along the front in the evening with the restaurants and cafes.
The apartment was tastefully furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped, with a Nespresso coffee pod machine, plenty of pans, crockery and cutlery etc. we didn't want for anything.
Lina, who did the handovers, was charming and said we could call her if we had any problems (which we didn't need to do).
The air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living area worked well and was much appreciated on a few hot nights.
Parking is free at several car parks in the town this year, there is paid parking on the street below the apartment and it's free between 8pm and 8am, outside these hours it's fairly expensive but you can park in one of the free carparks in town. We parked up at the train station car park which is a 10min walk up a moderate hill.
Banyals-Sur-Mer is a lovely town, it's low key and relaxed with mainly French tourists and locals. The beach is fabulous, it's a mix of fine shingle and flat slate-like shingle (which I prefer as I don't really like sand). The water was beautifully clear and every day I went for an early morning swim, then stopped at the boulangerie to pick up some fresh croissants on the way back for our coffee and breakfast on the balcony.
We had a great holiday and I can't think of any downsides to the apartment.

Place de parking à trouver mais.....en marchant 5min, parking de la gare gratuit !

Appartement parfaitement bien situé : 50m de la plage principale et des commerces.
Vue superbe.
Appartement très propre, très bien équipé et conçu avec goût.
Merci à Lina pour son accueil ; nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir.

Wij hebben een heerlijke verblijf gehad in het appartement. De uitzicht was geweldig! Ideaal was het strand aan de overkant van de weg voor een duikje. De boulevard en de winkels waren allemaal super dichtbij. De auto hebben we niet nodig gehad. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Schoon en mooi ingericht. Het contact met Lina was goed. We zouden zeker nog terug komen.
