The room was clean when we arrived although there were small bugs which looked like worms on the floor. The location was excellent, right in the old town which makes it an ideal location if you want to roam around Split without a car. The host responded to our messages promptly.
Our room was on the ground floor and had an independent entrance of which we had been informed. However, there was no room number outside apart from a label with the word ROOM. Every single day of our stay, there was someone trying to enter the room. They were either confused as with lack of signage and any service they thought this was the entrance of the accommodation or they were drunk and did not remember where their room was. That was extemely annoying. The host had informed us that the room was small but we did not expect such a tiny room, barely suitable for one person and only for a couple of days. No cleaning although we stayed there for a week. The bathtub drain was also clogged. There were no windows and nowhere to hang wet bathing suits or towels after the beach.
