The location was perfect.
My friend and I are both in our eighties so we had to be careful with the stairs, but once we were up the stairs it was good.

This is our 3rd visit to the property. It has a brilliant location both for access to Peebles (20 metres from a secluded spot to the main street), which is a particularly nice and interesting town on the river Tweed, and for the surrounding area of The Borders providing numerous walks of different duration and difficulty in stunning scenery. There are several excellent guidebooks to show and explain the walks. Some walks are from Peebles itself and some requiring transport to start points -- and local bus services do the job. The accommodation itself is ideal.

Location was fantastic for the purpose of our visit.
Found the second set of stairs extremely narrow, way too steep and felt dangerous and unsafe using them.
