Fair oak is the best in sandown. It is right outside the bus stop where you can tour around the island.
The pier and beach is about a 5 minute walk and also there are restaurants and bars dotted about.the owner Wilma will be available if any problems arise, and you can be assured that she will do her upmost to make you welcome.the rooms have all you need to make your evenings special. Big TV with Netflix and bbc I player also Disney. The showers are lovely, and the kitchen net has all you need to make that special dinner for 2,or1...

The accommodation was cosy, but very well set up, well heated and very comfortable. It was perfect for us. The owner texted me with information on how to get there and how to get in. She even gave me a phone call because she was worried about whether we got in OK, which is very touching.
It is difficult to locate, because Waze and Maps both fail to locate the exact location. However, the owner has gone out of her way to help find the place, so it's not their fault.

It was our second time at Fair Oak. Wilma was very welcoming and kind to offer us the bigger room with no extra costs. The room was comfortable, very clean and spacious with a lovely comfy bed, big tv with Netflix. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook sometimes when we needed and the bathroom was also clean. Fair Oak is close to shops, cafes and the beach and there was a bus stop right at the door which was superb as we don’t drive. We managed to go for an Alpaca walk again like last time we stayed and the Donkey Sanctuary which we really enjoyed. And of course visited towns nearby, including Shanklin, Ventnor, St Helen’s, Ryde etc. We can’t wait to be back! 💖
