North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Sqaure (2.1 Miles), Caesar's Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.0 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.9 Miles), and City Park (4.0 Miles).

Mid-City puts you at the center of everything New Orleans does best - second lines, streetcars, legendary parades, and the kind of neighborhood energy that's impossible to replicate. This five-bedroom home gives a group of up to ten a proper base: room to spread out, a backyard to come home to, and a kitchen built for real cooking.

Living space
The main living areas are open and easy, with natural light moving through the home and enough seating for the whole group to gather without feeling crowded. Ceiling fans and central air conditioning keep things comfortable no matter what the weather outside is doing. Room-darkening shades mean you can sleep in after a late night on the town - and in New Orleans, that matters. Fast Wi-Fi and smart TVs are available throughout, and a dedicated workspace in a common area is there when you need it.

Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests. Four rooms are each furnished with a king bed and plush linens, while the fifth has two single beds - a practical setup for families or groups with different needs. Three full bathrooms, including private and Jack-and-Jill configurations, plus a half bath, give everyone room to get ready without the wait.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully stocked for serious cooking. A Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer cover the essentials, and extras like a hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, toaster, baking sheet, and wine glasses mean you're set for everything from a morning coffee ritual to a proper dinner. Cooking basics, dishes, and silverware are all provided. The dining table seats the group, and a breakfast bar adds a casual option for quick meals.

Outdoor living
The backyard is fully fenced and set up for actual use - not just a patch of grass. A fire pit, BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, and a dining area give you a genuine outdoor living space. A cornhole set is on hand for leisurely afternoons. The private balcony is a quieter option for morning coffee or winding down at the end of the day.

Bathrooms
Three and a half bathrooms keep the group moving. Each full bathroom includes a bathtub and shower, with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel provided. Towels, bed linens, and a hair dryer are included.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided) and a folding or convertible high chair are both available upon request. Babysitter recommendations can also be arranged.

Parking & location
A private driveway accommodates two vehicles, with free street parking available as well. Trader Joe's is nearby for stocking up. The home sits steps from the Endymion parade route and the streetcar line, with the French Quarter just minutes away - well-positioned for festival stays and everyday exploration alike. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival straightforward.
