About this house rental
Growing up on the Delta, there isn't a single childhood and young adult memory that doesn't include a warm summer, golden hour float on the river. Whatever the season, this home is a haven on the water. It boasts two homes; a three bedroom/ two bath with newly renovated kitchen and baths, and a quant boat house with newly renovated living space, kitchen, and full bath. The views are spectacular from both. Both houses have a fire table, BBQ's and lots of seating for out door relaxation and fun! Check out instructions : we like to front load our guest to let them know what is on our list for checkout instructions. We love offering our home and we realize that you choose a home because of its comfort and expandable options that make it more convenient and a personalized experience.. ours request are as follows: - please start all towels in washing machine machines. The washer in the main house can have white towels, and the washer and the boathouse can have the beach towels- remove the sheets from the beds and put them by the washer and dryer. -transferring towels into the dryer would be very helpful. It helps the run time of our crew , if time permits. - please rinse and load both dishwashers and start the dishwashers before leaving. Please do not leave any dishes in the sink if larger dishes or pots need to be washed please hand wash them. They can dry on the counter. They do not need to be put away.-please make sure that air conditioners are turned up and heat is turned down. Please make sure that there are no appliances on before leaving please make sure the refrigerator and freezer doors are closed. Please lock all doors before leaving. During your stay, please make sure of the following.:-please make sure that doors are closed behind you at all times. Insects and rodents are residence on the island and they will find their way indoors.- if boating or leaving the property, please make sure that the main house is locked and that the boathouse has the front door locked. You can leave the water access side unlocked with doors closed - please do not leave anything on the dock that can blow into the water please back up all trash and all food before retiring in the evening. Do not leave any dishes with food or drink outside.- the delta is a special place, but it does have its special needs so as to protect you our home and the environment we ask that you help us to manage these details so that we can continue to rent our home and expand that experience. We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t recommend it enough. The house is beautiful, recently remodeled, and so thoughtfully designed, but the boathouse was truly magical. Between the stunning views, peaceful nature, and beautifully decorated spaces, it felt like such a special place to relax and unwind.We were able to fish, enjoy the water, and spend hours just hanging out in the boathouse. We originally planned to explore more of the surrounding areas, but honestly, we were so happy there that we barely wanted to leave.If you do want to grab a drink or enjoy a lovely meal, The Rusty Porthole — an absolute gem of a spot — is only about a 3-minute walk away.The nature surrounding both the house and boathouse is absolutely stunning and adds so much to the experience. The homeowners were also incredibly warm and wonderful to deal with, and you can truly feel that warmth reflected throughout the home itself.Usually, after a longer vacation, we’re ready to head home, but this time we found ourselves sad to leave because we had such an amazing, memorable stay. We would absolutely come back.

Kitchens were fully equipped. Fishing was excellent. Caught everything from stripper bass, catfish, blue gill, perch, and carp. Great location. Beautiful home.

Wonderful place on the river. Well stocked and very comfortable. We caught fish off the dock and loved the kitchen in the boat house. Everything was wonderful.
