About this villa rental

About this space
7,500 sq. ft. Secluded Historic Estate
The space
Wind your way back to this historic stone estate and see all the beauty nature has to offer as far as the eye can see. Nestled along a nature preserve you can walk for miles and explore the trees, birds, a beautiful brook, and more. Come escape from the city to relax and recharge. Or if you're from out of state, come relax and take a day trip to NYC, the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, Princeton, or the Statue of Liberty all only 60-90 minutes away!

This home was designed by prominent New York architect James Gamble Rogers who is best known for his academic commissions at Yale University, Columbia University, Northwestern University, and elsewhere. It was built circa 1929 by the Riegel Paper Company as an executive retreat. The interior was artfully constructed with raised panel molding, painted plaster walls and ceilings, a large masonry fireplace, decorative box beam ceiling and distressed oak flooring with cup head nails.

Upon entering this estate you will be greeted by the grand foyer and a game room and formal sitting room on either side. Through the sitting room you will find a beautifully updated chef's kitchen and a private office for your use. Under the stairs is a hidden play room and at the end of the house is a large media room complete with 160" screen and reclining theater chairs. Upstairs is the main bedroom with sitting area and private fireplace along with 6 other bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. Come relax and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the expansive property with all the exquisite contemporary updates to help make your stay unforgettable!

We had a great experience with a large group. Highly recommend

Our three-generation family of 13 enjoyed our 3 nights at the Estate! The size of the house, number of bedrooms and bathrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out for privacy and a little quiet time, while the beautiful grounds allowed for plenty of outside play for the kids. The movie theater and pool table were a big hit! Check-in was a breeze, and Brian and Brittany stayed in touch with us during the stay. We have a couple of suggestions for small changes as to the amenities, but all in all everyone had a wonderful stay, thank you!
