After dark we turned off the cabin lights and let our eyes adjust to the night sky - truly amazing!! Me and my husband just sat on the deck with glasses of wine and looked up, for like an hour - felt like 10 minutes! Other things to note ★Roads throughout the area are often curvy and narrow. 2WD vehicles will do fine under normal weather conditions, but 4WD may be required for icy or snowy weather. ★The cabin is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you’re visiting the North Georgia mountains, and our bug friends live in and around the neighborhood and the Blue Ridge area. You’ll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open. ★Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. Damage due to pets and smoking is excluded. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit. ★After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay.
