I think what I liked about the location was the aesthetics and how the hotel is designed. One of my favorite things was the view I had out of my window. It was dirty, but I did enjoy watching the sunset.
A couple nights to understand why I didn't like the room.
First off, towards the weekend, every single night you hear music all night from the street below. It's a really big party scene, and you constantly hear it. Every now and then, you can hear other guests in their rooms in the hotel.
I think what was a major thing was the pool. The pool was 3 ft. and quite small, with small hours from like 7:00 to 10:00, and then it just shuts down. Not really fun when Austin has such a small nightlife.
