All the rooms were really spacious, we spent most the time between the kitchen and lounge. The sofas were really comfy and we all loved the table in the middle of the room. Bedrooms were also good sizes and pleased it had 2 bathrooms. It was great that there was milk and other items all ready there for us and toiletries too. The location was nice and easy to get to bigger villages. The kids went to do axe throwing and rifle shooting near Stirling and had the best time. The local garden centre was really nice and the restaurant and shop had really amazing local produce which we loved. I was also partial to a slice of the coffee and Walnut cake which was divine.
Wifi was poor, maybe it needs to be plugged straight into a socket rather than the extension ( needs its own power supply ), this could improve it and won't cost any extra. I have to admit the steps up to the garden were a bit scary. The adults loved that it was an.older house, but I would definitely pick a modern property if the kids were to come again. Also parking was a farce, we took it in turns to park and empty our cars then park them down at the car park, but the neighbours certainly let us know we were not to park near the house - which put a bit of a dampner on the experience. We pay our car tax and especially with heart failure it made it more difficult and made me feel bad for even wanting to park nearby. Not sure some of the natives are very nice. Also Booking.com have it down as a sleep 9 but it's a sleep 8 - which caused some confusion.

The entire property was well serviced and comfy, the little touches by the host for milk and supplies was particularly pleasant and very helpful after a long trip. Host was was very clear with messaging and guidance. All in all a fantastic holiday away for my family.

House was in a nice area , they had left milk and tea bags , which was a nice surprise
The house is very dated , my sister struggled with the subsidence in the house , kitchen needs renewed , lounge area is lovely , the place was very clean , and I had to call the host regard8ng the door and she was very helpful .
