This stunning Shawnigan Lake waterfront property, with dock and hot tub, has everything to make your getaway the relaxing and fun retreat you are dreaming of. Spoil yourself on the shores of Shawnigan Lake. The home offers a light and bright combination kitchen, dining, living area where families can gather to make memories and enjoy views of the lake. The home also offers a large family room with a pool table and foosball table. This vacation property sleeps up to 10 with 4 bedrooms (3 Queen beds and 1 double), hide-a-bed in the family room, and a large bunkie under the deck that sleeps 4 (summer months only). There are 3 full bathrooms and laundry. The large expansive deck offers amazing morning sun, and stunning views of the lake. There is another sitting area around the firepit (wood fires only permitted when BC Coastal Fire Centre does not have bans or restrictions in place). There is also a hot tub with a covered sitting area. The large dock is where you will spend your day swimming, fishing and floating. There is a beach for those who don't like deep water and boat whips to hook up your own boat. The covered area offers shade from the endless summer sun. The home is well appointed, including linens, towels, and all kitchenware. The water system is state of the art and is safe for drinking. Wifi is available both in the house and on the dock. There is plenty of parking inside the gates, with beautiful garden beds and a level grassy area for relaxing and games. And if you need more to do there is access across the road to the Cowichan Valley Trail for hiking, mountain biking and the Kinsol trestle. Enjoy dinner at The Lakehouse or take a local wine tour. The property caretaker may be on site in a separate residence.

I was with a group of 11 made up of very dear old friends, and family. We were blown away by how perfect our stay was at Shauna & Vince’s lakeside house. Everyone had space if they wanted to just relax and there was lots of communal space that was used for fab meals in a fully equipped kitchen, game nights, campfires and even dock time as the weather was stunning for October. Beds were comfy. The trail system just across the road was well used for walks every day. The hosts were easily reachable and answered all questions that arose for our large group. We definitely will be keeping this place as a favourite and hope to be back next year.
