Nestled in Rio Del Mar, this charming house for $493 per night is a great option for your next trip. Permit #201384 It doesn't get any better than being directly on the sand with full views of the ocean from nearly every room. This rare location delivers a different kind of grounding energy, along with the sounds and smells that only an ocean front property can deliver. The exquisite 3 bed, 2 bath home is perfectly remodeled with many modern conveniences. It has a beautiful open and airy floor plan with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, radiant heat flooring, free Wi-Fi, and big screen digital TV's in the living room and master bedroom. Located in the middle of "Rio Del Mar Island", you are greeted by the brand new open kitchen connected to the dining area and living room that walks right on to the slate patio, literally 10 feet from the sand. The wonderful patio is where you will find yourself mesmerized by the beauty of the ocean and imminent sunsets. Sit and relax while you watch the waves splash in front of your eyes, on many occasions you will see dolphins, whales, birds, seals and other marine mammals. This well designed floor plan has custom built-in extra long twin bunk beds in the first floor bedroom with adjacent full bathroom. Walk up the staircase to the second level where you will find two large bedrooms and one full bathroom. The large master bedroom has a king size bed and offers full ocean views with a 5 x 20 ft sun deck. The second upstairs bedroom offers a queen size bed and full double closets. The second floor is also appointed with a washer and dryer. You find yourself 10 seconds from the sand, a 3 minute walk to restaurants, convenience store, coffee, and the famed Pixie's Deli. Stroll on down the sand to Seacliff Beach 5 minutes north and the famous "Parallels" surf spot 5 minutes walk south.

I loved this property and even got to speak to the owner at one point. Very sweet owners! They had a new property manager and there were a couple of glitches with communication, but overall an amazing place to stay!

We absolutely loved this property. It was clean and comfortable. The perfect place for our family to spend a weekend at the beach. The owner was responsive and friendly and the house was perfect. Our kids are going to be so disappointed not to sleep to the sounds of the waves when we get home.

We had a very comfortable stay here. The communication with Denise and Danielle was prompt and thorough. The beach is literally steps from the back door and was great for playing beach games and throwing a ball around. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable. We were able to watch Xfinity TV and sign into apps on the TVs.
My only criticism is the bathrooms didn't have a hook for a robe or a place in the shower to put soap, but we made it work, not a deal breaker.

We loved your home. It was just what a beach house getaway should be. The floors that heat were the biggest blessing. The bedrooms were roomy, the only comment would be that the bunk beds are for kids only as the beds were a little hard, BUT your couch made a perfect place. Your pigeon neighbor is named Priscilla as we found out she has eggs. Pedro her partner monitors here. Thank you so much for the opportunity to share.

This is our second year in a row staying at this home, we have tried a few others in previous year in the same area and this house is seriously THE BEST!!! It’s so comfortable, has everything we need, and Denise’s communication was so good!! We are already trying to book for next year, it’s just so perfect!!!

Only bummer was No Pets we would of loved to have our fur baby with us to enjoy as there are so many dogs on the beach!

Perfect beach location & amazing ocean views. Easy walk to cafe & market too. The home is clean, comfy & furnished well. Bunk room is very tiny & we were surprised the walking path was right at the edge of our patio but perfect in every other way. With great hosts & peaceful stay we would book again . We had a wonderful stay at this property in Aptos. Right on the beach, made watching the kids while they played on the beach really easy (we sat on the porch watching them). The kitchen is well stocked and the grill is nice and big. The location made it easy to take day trips to San Francisco, Monterey, the redwoods, and all of the different beaches along the coast. The hosts were great, checking in with us to be sure everything was as expected. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful west coast adventure!

As always, we had a wonderful time at the Rio Del Mar Beach House! The communication with Denise was top notch (as always) and our parents were first-times...and are already asking when we can go back! 4 stars only because some of the kitchen items we are accustomed to being stocked were missing and it was not as clean as prior visits including the floors (carpeting) and patio area was full of sand. Thanks for the accomodations, the location and views cannot be beat!

We enjoyed our stay at the house for a week with our family. The location is fantastic! You are on steps from the beach and that really won over the trip. Also, the place is decorated nicely.
However, there were some things, though that were not so great. The kitchen was not very clean. The cabinets were dirty on the outside and in the inside. There were crumbs, drips and spills like they have not been cleaned in a very long time. The couch and cushions around the table were noticeably dirty and stained. I know everyone's level of cleanliness is different and this might not bother them.
We felt there was not enough towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. A few more would have been helpful. The description stated there was beach towels, but we could not locate them.
The bunk beds downstairs only had decorator pillows, so no pillows for sleeping. We located an extra pillow in one of the closets, but it was stained and there was no pillow case. The two sleeping pillows on the king bed were so flat and worn out it didn't feel like there was a pillow. Thankfully we had some family that hadn't left and they brought us extra pillows and towels. The beds were very comfortable though.
Like I said we did enjoy our trip, just tried not to dwell on the few negative items.

This is our second visit to the property and had another amazing trip! Host is quick to respond and check in was beyond fast! Can’t beat the view and one of very few updated houses in the area. We hope to return again!

This home has beautiful finishes, the owners really put a lot of thought and $$ into the details. It seems to need a deep cleaning though and the kitchen supplies were not found to be very clean. Great location and very comfortable beds.

Our family stayed in this unit a few weeks ago for a short three night trip away from home. The unit was just as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The doors that open onto the beach on both floors were a wonderful touch. Taking a nap upstairs in the master bedroom, listening to the sound of the waves, and feeling the breeze gently come into the room were truly magical. Everything was clean and well maintained and we didn't have any trouble finding everything we needed. The location is perfect and contacting the host was easy and she they responded quickly to one of our questions. We will love to stay here again next year for our trip to Aptos!
The only downside we had was that the children's room on the first floor was not really set up for a toddler. There is not much space for a pack and play and our girl isn't quite ready for a bed without railings. We tried the first night to put it at the foot of the bunkbeds (which do not move) and our girl kept trying to climb out of her pack and play onto the ladder which worried us since we were upstairs and she was downstairs and we couldn't get to her quickly if something happened. We cant put her in our room because she wont sleep when she is in a room with us. So, we put a boogie board over the front of the ladder and secured it with a few belts so she couldn't grab onto the ladder and climb up when we were not in the room and that seemed to do the trick.

We loved our time at this beautiful property. The location was superb. It just doesn't get better than listening to waves crash all day and night! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were like "sleeping in your own bed"! I have nothing to say about our stay other than fabulous!!!
