Great sized room. Within a short distance to the u/s Bahn. It’s an older building, so I didn’t mind. I wanted to have a real Berlin experience in a real Berlin flat. It’s not a hotel, but you have most of the basics available. Treat it like staying with your friend in a flat situation.
I can now say “ich bin ein Berliner”.
If returning to Berlin, I would definitely return if the room was available.
As a foreign person, it can be difficult if you are not familiar with things that are basic to most Germans (such as opening a door lock, which is not as easy as it sounds). But that is part of the learning experience as a traveller.

The room was clean and comfortable.The location was good and convenient for exploring Berlin. Overall, the accommodation was reasonable considering the price.
Unfortunately, the shared space had a very strong and unpleasant smell when I entered. I’m not sure what was causing it, but it seemed to come from the host’s clothes or belongings and smelled as though they had not been washed for several days. 😷
The Wi-Fi was also not working throughout the property, and there was almost no phone reception, which made the situation quite uncomfortable. At times, I honestly felt stuck there because I had very limited connectivity.
For the price, I suppose you get what you pay for, but the smell and lack of Wi-Fi/reception made the stay feel much worse than it should have been.
