Great location - can walk to pubs & sea.
Liked the quirky room decor & large bathroom. Bed was comfy too.
The room felt claustrophobic due to the sloping ceilings - there wasn’t a lot of room to walk round the end of the bed because of them.
There needs to be blinds at the window on the staircase as it didn’t feel very private.
Needs bigger cups for tea & coffee.

our room had a window on the street out front with only a blind for cover (maybe frosted glass vinyl)

Clean shower and towels.comfy bed despite it being creaky. . Central location . Bottled water and large fan in room. Some access to WiFi but not consistent. Staff approachable and tried to resolve wifi issues
Large roller blind to block out sun.
Not far from train and buses.
Very noisy from outside the lodging as it is adjacent to a public footpath and near a pub. First night no noise from other residents but nights 2 &3 the person above must have been moving furniture around.
Despite clean towels and bedding it was obvious that the room had not been dusted for some time.. Wifi completely disappeared on 3rd night
The room needs a grid at the window so it can be opened as otherwise it is accessible to people passing by.
The front door and our room door very difficult to close.. I was told that a new external door is on order, very badly needed
