Carmel Valley's dining scene is a mix of chain restaurants and local spots, with several large supermarkets for those who prefer to self-cater. The Torrey Pines State Reserve, a stunning nature park with hiking trails and beautiful beaches, is located just west of Carmel Valley. Other local highlights include the Cinépolis multiplex theater, the Grand Golf Club, and beautiful Penasquitos Creek Waterfall.
