Excellent location, central to transport, but so calm and quiet once you walk through the doors, smells nice too - as do the luxurious Clarins toiletries in the bathroom! Rooms are huge, quirky decor so no corporate blandness here, beds soo comfortable and no noise intrudes from outside. Lots of little extras including free filtered water in corridors. Staff professional, helpful and speak fluent English.
Unfortunately our bathroom only had a shower over bath, quite slippery and not ideal when you’re a bit older - but staff soon sourced a shower mat for us! Also, breakfast rather expensive but lots of cafes nearby.

Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Next to the train station but about 25mins walk to the city centre. We had a room facing the back of the hotel which made it peaceful for sleeping. Cannot comment on the restaurant or breakfast as we didn’t use those facilities.
Bedroom ceiling lights were too complicated to switch off.

It’s really quiet thanks to the double windows so you sleep like in a cocoon. Blackout curtains. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean bathroom.
No ventilation in the bathroom. This is why it is not a 10. Also the water machines in the hallways were not functional. No hair conditioner (the bottle was not refilled). The sink had a water leak that was not repaired and the mould showed this straight away. I tried to use towels for the water leak. During our stay it was not repaired.

Staff was friendly, welcoming, responsive, and helpful.
The facilities were cutting edge high quality, but counterintuitive (see more below).
Extremely clean.
The location. The location score is misleadingly high. The location is excellent for train travel. It is horrible for proximity to the "action". This is not the first time I have suffered an extremely misleading location score. Customers who do this, stop doing this. Customers who look the other way, stop looking the other way. We need to help each other. If you become privy to a misleading location score, report it.
I also had issues with facilities. The lights were ridiculously complicated to turn off. The AC and shower functionalities were elusive (the shower is push button- cool- but counterintuitive.
On a positive note, the staff was very responsive when I requested help turning off the lights. I troubleshooted the other two problems through Chat GPT.
