The biggest positive was the staff - they really couldn't be kinder or try harder to make your stay a good one. I travel a lot & stay in a lot of hotels, but here I felt like an individual and genuinely valued. The hotel was nice otherwise, I appreciated being able to control the heating and aircon in my room and the room I asked for was very quiet, as requested - as a result I slept a lot better than I usually do in a hotel.

Very handy for Perrache station, plus tramway and metro, and well placed near the confluence and the city. Hotel clean, comfortable, staff reasonably friendly and helpful. Room was nice enough.
Shower was new, but a real squeeze to get in and out of, even for an average sized person.

The location was great, close to a large transport hub and an easy walk to the old town and shopping.
The room was a little tired and quite small. Also, the pillows on the bed were square which we are not used to and which is a bit unusual for a hotel. From the photos on-line, we thought the hotel would be a bit more modern; it needs an upgrade.
