The property exceeded our expectations. A much-needed retreat at the end of a busy vacation.

The outdoor onsen was delightful. Close to the beautiful Atami Plum Garden

Big house on the hill that can cater for 7 of us

A cozy Japanese style home that can fit for many. The owner/staff was very helpful to cater for our last minute request to get another set of futon set up. The villa also has an outdoor onsen and the owner was honest enough to return back the money for the first night when the outdoor bath was not working. We had a great time soaking in the hot bath at night.

Without knowing the property was actually on top of the hill and we brought 3 senior citizens in their 80s on this trip, climbing up n down the staircase in the 2 days became the most unforgettable experience of their trip. Thank God they pulled through. My advice for the owner is to put a note about the staircase cos it is really not suitable if you have elderly on your trip.

Amazing place to stay for a trip with friends or family.

The facility was amazing, especially the outdoor and indoor baths, bedrooms, and living/dining area. It was very comfortable and clean. In addition, there were plenty of tableware for my group of five. Also, having the heated floors when it started getting cold was an amazing bonus!

It is not in the easiest location to get to, so I highly recommend taking a taxi (if you don't drive yourself). The steep hills can make it difficult to get to the villa, but if you like walking, it was nice going through the nearby park.
