I did not stay and will never book a stay with distinctive home Orlando ever again the in the future.
The neighborhood look nice. Ease of access.
I didn’t like anything about the property, the trash was right at the front door so every time you opened the door flies flew into the house. There was duct tape on the remotes, cabinet doors, and furniture. There were stains on the mattress down stairs and the linen. The furniture in the living room did not match the leather furniture on the pictures. It was spider webs throughout the home. The pool was being filled by a molded hose pipe. The pool is not crystal clear as in the picture which was a selling point for my family. It’s more like a jacuzzi than a pool where the bottom is peeling and rusty. Upstairs is a bedroom and a the master with a balcony. The kids room upstairs has two beds. Each bed is a stack of two mattresses and a boxspring. They are not true beds as expected. What bothered me with them is the mattresses were not clean and the way they were made up was not acceptable. The dresser was cracked as well. The stopper in the sink was not pushing in to pop up it was stuck in the stopper position so the sinks would just fill up with water. The master bedroom big and open. The bed however towards the foot of the bed is a huge dent in the mattress. I was too afraid to even look under the covers. So I can’t tell you about that bed linen or condition of the mattress. The floors I would not walk barefoot on because the carpet needed a serious cleaning and the walls nasty throughout the house. The top floor balcony was not inviting nor was the chairs provided to sit on the balcony clean to sit on. My check in was 4pm, I didn’t arrive until 530ish. As soon as my son walked in he’s 12 and we travel a lot, his first words was mom I want to go back to our other house I don’t like this house. My 8 year old (it was his birthday trip) said he wanted to leave. I called immediately after arriving to voice my concerns. Sent pictures.
