Uma estadia verdadeiramente especial e diferente de todas as outras da nossa viagem. A casa, uma antiga manjedoura recuperada mantendo muitos dos seus traços originais, integra-se perfeitamente no ambiente único de Monsanto. A vista é fantástica, mas o que mais nos marcou foi toda a experiência: passear pelas pequenas ruas à noite, conversar com os habitantes mais velhos e a forma tão genuína como fomos recebidos pela senhora que cuida da casa. Foram pequenos momentos que não esperávamos e que tornaram a estadia muito mais especial.
Viajando com crianças pequenas, acrescentaria apenas algum tipo de proteção/vedação junto às escadas, por uma questão de segurança. O estacionamento e a reduzida oferta de serviços nas proximidades podem ser menos convenientes, mas consideramos que fazem parte das características próprias de ficar no centro histórico de Monsanto e não propriamente uma falha do alojamento.

The visit to Monsanto and the stay in this beautiful historic house were the highlights of our trip to Portugal.
We loved strolling around Monsanto, especially in the golden hour as the sunset light bathed the giant boulders and stone houses, and relaxing on the breathtaking terrace of the house.
We very much appreciated the detailed instructions from the owner on where to park the car and how to check in.

TOUT était exceptionnel ! Le lieu atypique est vraiment charmant et si bien décoré ! On ressent l’âme des anciens … la terrasse avec la vue est juste incroyable !!!

Ένας μαγικός τόπος. Το σπίτι σα να βγήκε από παραμύθι. ΑΠΌΛΥΤΑ προσεγμένο και με σεβασμό στην αισθητική και την παράδοση του μοναδικού αυτού τόπου, αλλά προσαρμοσμένο με διακριτικότητα και σπάνια αισθητική στις ανάγκες του σημερινού επισκέπτη. Το μπαλκόνι του, μια αξέχαστη εμπειρία. Όλη η φροντίδα και η αισθητική με ταξίδεψαν πολύ πίσω, στα παιδικά μου χρόνια, όταν η γιαγιά με περίμενε με αγάπη στο χωριό στην Ορεινή Ναυπακτία στην Ελλάδα. Αξίζει πραγματικά μια επίσκεψη στο Μονσάντο και οπωσδήποτε η διαμονή σε αυτό το υπέροχο σπιτικό. Αφήσαμε ένα κομμάτι της καρδιάς μας εκεί, κλείσαμε το Μονσάντο στην ψυχή μας ....
