Sonnenberg Hostel and Dormitories

The breakfast and dinner was very good! Thank you for the mass electrical outlets for our use and wifi! Beds were comfy and the room was clean. Nice views! The owner and his friends were super friendly and nice.

The dinner we purchased from the facility was a little smaller than we were expecting, given what we paid. We ended up walking down to Murren to grab some Chinese food. we knew we were staying in a dorm so that wasn't an issue. One of the ladies that stayed in our room just randomly shut the lights off at 9:30pm without a warning to the 5 of us in the room with her. It was very off putting. This is not the facilities fault; just part of staying in a dorm. No towels fyi in the bathroom, which we weren't prepared for since every other place on our hut to hut travels had something if there was a shower.

Il aurait simplement été bien de prévenir que Murren est une ville sans voiture accessible en téléphérique et que la montée « d’échauffement » ressemble plutôt à une sacrée épreuve avec des valises

Impostato il navigatore su Google maps vi porterà presso un’altra struttura lì vicino (poco più avanti di circa 200 metri) 😅 guardate bene la foto del rifugio e orientatevi in base a quella (è prima rispetto a dove vi indica Google maps)

The climb up to the dormitory was challenging after a long day of hiking. Worth it!
