A lovely house, with all the comforts and facilities you could need. The garden was amazing and it was great to be able to sit out right by the river and watch the wildlife (the kingfisher obliged us with regular appearances, as did greater spotted woodpeckers, grey wagtails, entertaining squirrels and an intrepid cat). The weather was kind to us, and when it drizzled there's a covered area - great! Perfectly situated in a quiet area but a really short walk into the town centre. Abergavenny is a lovely town with plenty of independent shops and a market. Close to other places of interest - we "did" the three castles and visited Crickhowell. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we are coming back in February. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We had a lovely, relaxing time.

The location by the river was idyllic, and the outdoor space was perfect to enjoy the autumn sunshine. The property was excellently thought out and well equipped. Its location was perfect for access to the town centre and gaining access to the great outdoors.
Minor complaints to improve what is already an excellent property. The seating in the lounge was not the most comfortable. Having a shower meant the entire bathroom became wet as there was no shower panel to separate it from the rest of the bathroom. There was only 1 sun bed and that was a heavy wooden one unlike in the picture.

Great location, quiet but walking distance to supermarket and cafes. Super comfy bed and breakfast extras were appreciated.
Could use a drying rack to dry clothes….we were 10 days into a trip and would have liked to have washed clothes and have somewhere to dry them.
