The whole apartment; it's layout, utilities and furnishings were clean, comfortable - excellent! Everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Ample car parking off the street. Location was perfect for easy access to drive to Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh - just what we we looking for. Train station only minutes walk away. A number of options for eating out, pubs and shopping. At Charlie's recommendation, 1st night we dined at the Claremont Inn - fabulous meal, service at reasonable price. Charlie, the host, a really lovely person, great sense of humour and so easy to chat with. He is the type of person who would do anything for you, nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend this apartment and Charlie.

I liked that it was close enough to Edinburgh and Glasgow, it was well maintained excellent decor. Close to local shops and takeaways. Well furnished, plenty of space. Nice little patio out front private parking space. Couldn’t fault it,

The apartment is spacious and is finished to an exceptionally high standard with a fully equipped kitchen. The railway station, with direct services to Glasgow and Edinburgh and a supermarket are within walking distance. The host is very friendly, helpful and responsive.
The TV offered a lot of services but not, that we found, TV stations like BBC. The steps up to the apartment are quite steep and while they weren't a problem for us, we hadn't expected them.

A good central location with a good parking spot. Also a 10 minute walk to the train station. For a couple that does some cooking and eating out, the kitchen was the best stocked for equipment that we have ever had.
There was a little bit of road noise but this eventually subsides later in the night.
