The house is big, spacious and playful. The location is amazing, close to great nature and walking distance to Fayence where there are a ton of options to go for dinner. You can also walk to the super market down in the village. The window in the living room provides an incredible view, which was great when the weather turned a bit colder, we could still enjoy the view from there. Lionel lives below and was very helpful and hospitable.
If you are going to book this place: DON'T BOOK VIA HOLIDU!
While the place is lovely, we feel we overpaid for the house. We rent quite a lot of houses, and know what reasonable prices are. This was not one of them. We also saw that the price a week later was 25% lower. When we told the host, Lionel, he was very helpful to solve the issue by paying us back something, but he told us the amount he receives for our rental period... A normal amount for a booking agency would be around 15%, but Holidu took almost 60% here!!! This is completely insane and criminal! When we filed a complained with them to compensate us, they offered us a fraction of the total sum, but then learned they were billing Lionel!! He is not overcharging, the thieves from Holidu are! NEVER BOOK VIA HOLIDU!
