The room is located on the edge of the city centre, but in a quiet secure area. The room itself was clean, comfortable and characterful, with decent facilities.
There were just a few small niggly details. One, we hadn't realised that in the evenings you have to cross through a patio area of a restaurant where you feel like you're invading people's private space. Two, the coffee machine hadn't been emptied/ cleaned before our stay and we had to remove old capsules and clean out the film in the capsule bin. Three, the toilet flush doesn't work properly and you have to keep pumping it until you get a reasonable flow of water through. Four, the breakfast is at a cafe on the Piazza Duomo where some of the staff can be less than friendly. If you want to sit down you can't use an indoor table and outdoors it is inevitable that someone will be smoking nearby. So we gave in and took the croissant and coffee to go.
