The cottage was immaculately clean, really comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. It’s in a great central location and has a lovely, cosy feel. There’s a little brook nearby which we could hear from the bedroom, which was lovely. Oh and the shower was great, really powerful!
There really wasn’t much we didn’t like. The cottage is near a busy road, and as the weather was very hot we needed the windows open, so there was quite a bit of road noise.

Very well equipped, cute 6 bed cottage in a lovely village. We all loved the shower facilities. The towels and bedding were great touches. WiFi was a little tricky but the host was very helpful. Would recommend walking around the village as so much history and interesting information. Great central location for areas such as Matlock, Bakewell etc
Parking wasn’t a problem for us but it potentially could be if it was busy. My dad has breathing issues so being accessible was important. The bed down stairs was more of a sofa bed so very hard as was the sofa but fine for the 3 days we were there. The others were fine.
