Lovely cottage tucked away apparently miles from anywhere. Excellent facilities including WiFi fast enough for much more needy people than us.
LED lights are a bit powerful for size and age of the property. Could do with a couple of floor or table lamps to offer a calmer option for those not wishing to shoot a film or perform neurosurgery.

Beautiful location, very homely, cosy and stunning views. Well stocked DVD collection, however the DVD player was not working on our stay. The garden was beautiful. Remote location but close to the town.
Bigger TV and DVD player would be nice. The staircase is quite steep and not the easiest to get up and down. Late checkout of an extra hour was not available for our stay.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings, we loved how remote the cottage was but close enough to helmsdale.the spacious garden was perfect for our pet labrador to explore! The cottage was spotless, warm and had everything we needed and the log fire was an added bonus. Will definitely return in the future...thank you

Cosy cottage, beautiful surroundings, quite remote
For a property that sleeps 5, the only table indoors has just 2 seats. Without internet, there is no option of using tv or phones at all, as no phone signal. Unfortunately the internet was out of action completely for the last 6 days of our stay, (due to a thunder storm), and when it was working the tv kept freezing. Lots of dvd’s to watch instead though!
