This property offers a very convenient location -- just an easy 10-minute walk to the Porto Rudiae and 15-minute walk to the train station. It's on a lovely, family-oriented street, and very safe. In mid-September we found parking easily right in front of the house. The host is a very good communicator and makes the check-in process easy. It took us a minute to figure out the key/electricity process, but it makes sense once you understand it. The interior is very clean, which we appreciated. We didn't know that the principal bedroom would be upstairs, with the bathroom on the main level. Not really a problem for us but just something good to know ahead of time. Despite the air conditioning downstairs, the upstairs does remain warm. The host has provided a fan and air purifier to help. The kitchen is well-equipped, though some small eating bowls and a few kitchen towels would have been nice. But otherwise the space provides everything you might need for a comfortable, efficient, economical stay in the beautiful city of Lecce.

The city centre was only a 10-minute walk away, and finding parking nearby was easy.
Cleanliness was below expectations, with a worm and a spider found in the living room. We also did not feel safe in the neighbourhood. The apartment was advertised as having two bedrooms, but the layout was more like one room split across two levels. It was also very dark, with little natural light and no proper windows. The pictures didn’t represent the real situation.
