The apartment was exactly what we needed for our 4 day stay - it had everything available and was decorated so beautifully. It was clean and homely, an ideal location for a wander around Golspie, and as a base for journeying further afield. We went to John O'Groats, Dunnet, and Wick. It was a great opportunity to explore the East Coast.
The instructions for checking in were great, and the on-site parking was ideal. We needed the heating turned down, and it was done remotely and quickly for us, and turned down to the ideal temperature for us.
It didnt bother us in the slightest, as we live on a main bus route at home, but in the interests of transparency, the flat is directly on the main street and could be a little bit noisy at times. As a main route for buses, cars and motorcycles enjoying the NC500, its a point worth noting for light sleepers/babies/children.
We really, really enjoyed our trip and our stay at The Old Post Office.
The bed in the bedroom is extremely narrow, and very springy. Our personal preference is something much less soft, and its a shame its so narrow when the room would allow for at least a king size. As the only master bed, it wasn't as comfortable a sleep as we were hoping for. We considered using the sofa bed, but in the interests of saving the laundry, didnt bother.

Location was superb, particularly with dogs. The apartment exceeded expectations. We wished we could stay longer. Well equipped, good facilities, very dog friendly , spacious and comfortable and very clean. Firm comfy bed.
Far too hot for us but that's a good "fault" given Scottish weather.

We needed a place to stay overnight while sightseeing, and the property met our expectations. It was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The apartment is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's located on the ground floor of a building right next to the main road. The windows are frosted glass, so it's dark and you can't see anything outside. Besides, you don't want to open the windows because there are cars and people passing by outside. It's a decent place to stay overnight on the way, so you can visit Dunrobin Castle in the morning and then move on.
