We booked this property after another host cancelled on us with just a few weeks to go, so it wasn’t our first choice, but in the end it exceeded our expectations. It was a lovely, modern apartment with everything we needed and great views from the large balcony. The kitchenette was modern and well equipped, and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The whole complex was very peaceful during our stay and we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. Having a designated parking space was also very convenient. The apartment isn’t too far from Menaggio, although unless we missed a route through the complex, the beginning of the walk into town was along a busy main road. We found it easier to take the car instead, and had no trouble parking in Menaggio.

Well-laid-out apartment with a terrace overlooking the lake. Beautiful view. The elevator is convenient for carrying luggage.
The apartment is poorly soundproofed (you can clearly hear the neighbors in the apartment above).
The bedding is very uncomfortable (both the bed and the sofa bed).
The living room rug was dirty and full of dust.
The shower water does not drain properly and floods the bathroom.
The plants on the terrace are not maintained.
There is not enough kitchenware (only two wine glasses?!).
Maintenance work using a Kärcher (therefore very noisy) in the common areas of the residence started on May 1st at 10 a.m. I thought that day was a public holiday and a non-working day…
