Well maintained and very comfortable property-everything you need for a great stay, fab location seeing the loch. Very cute friendly ducks were hilarious trying to get bread off all the lodges. If taking any reactive dogs be mindful of ducks everywhere just. Slight issue with group of girls drunk singing and playing music loudly who were staying at a nearby lodge- very late at night, but other than that small niggle, Stringy Rocks and the communication from owner was top notch. Can’t fault. We’ve booked again next year and can’t wait.
Be aware that the Restaurant & bar is close by and whilst most folk are mindful of this and are quiet-a few were quite loud coming back to their lodges. Also parking is limited nearby, we found people trying to take our parking spot at Stringy Rocks and going to the restaurant. Perhaps signage to say ‘Stringy Rocks guest only parking’ might help?

Perfect location - fantastically clean. Plenty of essentials for self catering and for lazy days the boathouse restaurant does amazing food and very reasonable prices. Worth a visit to Archarn Waterfalls see picture.
