About this apartment rental
Magnificent apartment that will allow you to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Venice, a fourth floor with an unforgettable view of the Grand Canal at the height of the Church of the Scalzi. The apartment, equipped with a lift, consists of a large living room with a lounge and kitchen and a terrace with a panoramic view of the Grand Canal. The sleeping area includes a double bedroom, a room with two beds, two bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower) and another lounge with a sofa bed that leads to the wonderful Altana (roof terrace). Upon request, two additional beds (sofa bed). Maximum capacity 6 people. Check-in time: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Arrivals between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM may require a supplement of €50 (to be paid in cash upon arrival).

The apartment and location were excellent. Very close to the action, but off the beaten track enough to be peaceful. We loved the roof top terrace. Although there is an elevator to the level of the apartment, there are two internal staircases to the terrace, which do not have hand rails the whole way. No problem for our group, but something to note for other groups. We had not requested the sofa bed to be made up so did not find the bedding needed. We would have liked to have been able to make it up ourselves as we have two teenagers who do not always like to share a room. Also there were no duvet covers. Although it is summer, we would have liked to have the duvets and covers on the bed so that we could remove if not needed. Although we requested multiple times, we had to make do with sheets covering the duvets. I hoped this is resolved for the next guests. Otherwise we were happy with the cleanliness of the place, the greeting at check in, and the communication.

Host was very responsive and the apartment exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located to the train station as well. I would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was well appointed, beautiful but not very functional. The things that you take for granted were not present upon arrival ( ie.,Paper Towels). The view was amazing. The security fences and doors added a level of comfort to our stay. The elevator was a definite plus. It took the washing machine 2 hours to do one load of clothes. Even with the lack of homeyness, I’d rent it again because of its proximity to the train station, water taxis, shops, dining and excursions.
