The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our 10-night stay. Whenever we needed anything, they listened and did their best to help. The housekeeping staff also did a great job. The beds were a little too firm for us, but they provided an extra mattress, which made a world of difference.
We would also like to thank Thuy, Vu, Nguyet, Kathy and Phong for their kindness and service. However, our biggest compliment goes to Levi in the restaurant. She was absolutely wonderful – genuinely warm, attentive and always seemed to notice what we needed before we even had to ask. She made us feel very welcome and was one of the people we will remember from our stay. She truly deserves special recognition.
The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
We found it a little uncomfortable that several members of staff, from reception to the restaurant, repeatedly offered to connect us with people who could make clothes. We understand this is common in Hoi An, but as guests it can feel a little too sales-focused.
We also booked the hotel transfer from the train station, and despite paying considerably more than a Grab, the driver asked us via Google Translate for money to buy food because he was hungry, which made for an awkward start.
The pool area was also extremely slippery when wet, which was particularly concerning for us with two small children.
Breakfast was good overall, although after several days some of the cold cuts no longer looked very fresh and could probably have been replaced a little sooner. There was, however, always plenty of other food to choose from.
