Brilliant property with an interesting story (ask about the nunnery that used to operate their) and the kindest friend desk staff you could possibly meet. The breakfast is EXCELLENT and absolutely worth getting included in your rate; there’s very little near the hotel and the food is better than anything you’ll get in central for the cost. Strongly recommend. The spa is extremely tranquil and peaceful. They don’t have a dry sauna but the steam room is great and the hot tub is great, even if it could be a couple degrees warmer. This hotel sits a bit outside city centre so expect a hilly 15-min walk to the marina. Pro tip: This hotel is part of the Malangen property group so if you’re also staying at a place outside the city, consider Malengen Resort Cabins (90 minute drive) which is also phenomenal, especially if you’re looking for an authentic sauna and arctic plunge experience.

Gym had a large variety of larger dumbbells and barbell weights.
Room was new and well furnished
Breakfast had all sorts to eat. Awesome views from breakfast table

We had to change rooms when we got there the new room we had was good but the original had barely any room to move. The receptionist was fantastic. She went above and beyond, I couldn’t fault her.
There first room had no wardrobe and no space to put a case. We had to pay extra and upgrade.
