Size, layout, close the beaches, a beautiful and well maintained property. Short walk to grocery shop.

Keys in door. Plenty of every sort of equipment, towels, cleaning products etc. The property backs onto a trunk road but (unlike some reviewers) we did not find traffic noise to be intrusive at all. Half a pint of milk, tea bags, coffee and sugar for us when we arrived (but unlike every other cottage we have stopped at), no welcome pack comprising things such as bread, eggs, wine was left for us. This doesn't mean we needed it or would have used the items, but other visitors might be disappointed.
A recurring smell from sewage pipes or drains in the bathroom, which seemed to come from the vent pipe a couple of feet away from the bathroom velux window. Very few drawers; you need to use your case for some clothes, as there is just one hanging rail with 10 hangers per bedroom The free parking was fine, but the yard and access were very restricted; without front and back sensors and 360 degree camera turning round or backing would have been well nigh impossible. You really need a small car to park comfortably.

Absolutely beautiful from the front, very large spacious rooms and two lovely ensuite with good showers. Excellent location to visit in the wind distillery and Aberport Harbour.
So close to the main road, the noise was not a problem but the occasional smell of farm diesel fumes were quite strong when we were sitting in the yard. Not a problem went in the house. My husband is 6 foot one and kept banging his head on the lights above the sink!
