They’ve thought of everything , rooms have comfortable beds with great little bathroom, soft clean towels, good toiletries and heated mirror ( no steaming up) coffee machine in room , tea bags and fresh milk in fridge.
Free tea & coffee in lounge all day and cake at 4 o’clock.
In hotel grounds boot cleaning facilities, dog wash and bike storage.
Information and maps of walks from hotel.
Staff friendly and extremely helpful with good knowledge of local area.
Great breakfast and menu with good choice for evening meals.
If you don’t have your own transport there is a bus stop just outside the hotel with reliable bus service into Bamford & Hathersage.

Room was good, wifi was good, didnt like the self checkin, the restaurant at night was disapointing, food was poor and over priced, breakfast disapointing , hot food was only beans, scrambled eggs, smoked streaky bacon, no sausages , no back bacon, no hash browns, etc, boiled eggs you had to cook yourself.

First time we've ever taken our dog away with us and this property was so accommodating as were the staff who were all great. Neil was the stand out, a stereotypical geordie, full of joy, fun and wit as well as helpful. He clearly enjoyed his job and life and it rubbed off.
Facilities were great incl the cinema and chill out room. Breakfast was superb. We had a pizza one evening in the restaurant. Was 7/10 and starters came with the main but apart from that we loved our stay and would come back or try the other hotel in Scarborough on the back of staying here.
We had read about road noise and asked for a quiet room at the rear of the hotel. We were given a room on the rear but it was close to the corner and hence still noisy. Was the only negative and the only reason I didn't give a 10/10 for everything.
