Overall, the accommodation was comfortable and we had a pleasant stay. However, there were a few issues that could be improved.
The hot water shower was not working when we arrived, and we had to inform the staff and request that it be repaired. The room telephone also did not work when we tried to use it, although it appeared to connect when the property contacted us. We also noticed some stains on one of the bed sheets and had to request a replacement.
On the positive side, the food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall environment was very relaxing.
We also had an issue with the room rate. The bill was initially calculated in USD and then converted into Sri Lankan Rupees. As local guests, we requested that the local currency rate be applied instead, as the converted USD rate resulted in a higher amount than the local rate.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but attention to these details would help improve the guest experience.
