We had an excellent stay. The property was just as advertised. Clean and close to everything. Fruit stand right next door, close to restaurants, bikes available to get around town and the bed was comfortable.

The apartment was comfortable and very useful. The manager, and assistant person were thoughtful and kind. The only struggle was the internet signal. It was very weak in most locations of the apartment. To easily correct this problem, the owner could install an outlet WiFi Extender.

Recently we had the pleasure of spending nine nights at Latitude 17. The upper cabana was very clean and spacious with a nice full kitchen, dining table and couch in the main room and a comfortable queen bed in the back room. The front porch was a nice place to eat on the outdoor dining table or just sit and lounge in the hammocks. Large screen doors and open louvers allowed the ocean breezes to circulate fresh air through the unit. The gardens on the property are full of unusual palms and other fun tropical plants. Its location is right in the center of Hopkins close to so many restaurants that we ate somewhere different every night. Several grocery stores and an excellent fruit and vegetable stand were close by. It was easy to grab some fresh food. The owner and his staff were so nice they made us feel like family. Only a block from the beach it is a wonderful location to experience the tropics and the local culture.

I stayed here 14 nights as part of a 32 night stay at the Latitude 17 property's. Its better than described and the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful hardwood furniture, floors, ceilings. High quality brand name fixtures/appliances/mattress, plus two bikes!. With a Grocery left and market to the right, we used the full kitchen for most meals and splurged at one of the many local restaurants every third night for fun. We spent many hours on the front deck enjoying the sun and town. Miles long, unbroken beach was super swimming friendly and only seconds away. Long gradual totally sandy deepening and no rips or currents make it very family friendly and we were found there daily. On the few days the winds were up we fell asleep and woke to the sound of the surf. Managers Annette and Mirko (Belize licenced travel and excursion agent) were amazing, being always available to provide advice and answers to our questions.(Even a loaner phone is provided - Wow) The Cabanas and property were super clean and well kept. Many well researched and professionally run excursions were available via Mirko, taking the guess work out of booking a day trip. (He also greatly assisted our travel to and from Hopkins/Lat 17 from Belize City airport) My wife and I were planning our return on the plane going home - what better praise can I say that that.

Our stay in Hopkins at Latitude 17 was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, to include very good firm bed! It is very central to the village with a wonderful porch to lay in hammocks or sit with coffee at the table. We loved bikes as part of the package, used them everyday, all day, perfect way to get to around. Directly across from the beach! The ease of arrival and departure was perfect, Mirko there to answer all questions. Mirko provided a phone, a nice amenity. All in all loved Hopkins! and our stay at Latitude 17!!! Definitely recommend and hopefully will be back!

Me, my wife, and Daughter stayed at the Latitude this past June. Very clean complex located perfectly in the middle of Hopkins Village! It was a little small for the 3 of us, mainly because of the suitcases having to stay in the living area, but not too bad. And it would be ideal for a couple! Kitchen was well stocked if you chose to cook and eat in. The beach is a short walk "maybe" a 4 to 5 minutes! I also thoroughly enjoyed the fruit stand that was literally right down the stairs next to the complex, and there were plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. If you are going to Hopkins to just chill and take in the local community (which is why you should be going to Hopkins) this is probably one of the best facilities to stay in within the village itself!!!

The cabana was very clean and comfortable. Had every thing we needed. Best thing was sitting on the porch watching daily lives of Hopkins village.
